Recently read "Between the Mountain and the Sky" by Maggie Dayne. A heart-worming story of a young gal that took a gap year and did some wondrous things. Also "The Women" by Kristen Hannah, a story of nurses during the Vietnam War.

I made a single batch of these. As I generally cut just a corner off of a bag of chocolate chips, I held the bag over the bowl and measuring cup and much to my surprise, I had cut the entire top off of the bag. Needless to say I had an over abundance of white chocolate chips in my cookie mix!! I tho...

Karen, what brand of brownie mix did you use?? I have a box of Ghirardelli brownie mixes but it already has chocolate chips in it and I am wondering if adding more would be too much.

When I first saw Nonie's question, my first thoughts went to thread size rather than needle size. I have made several of McKenna Ryan's quilts and have machine appliqued all of the pieces - and that is a lot of pieces!! I pick a needle size appropriate for the thread I am using which does vary. IMHO...

I have not done this dress but a friend has done some of Evy Hawkins patterns and they are beautiful!! I have used many of her embroidery designs and her digitizing is impeccable. I would not hesitate to use any of her work and she is always very willing to answer questions.
