Sara, the link works for me.
We've been talking about King Cakes since the beginning of Mardi Gras. I posted a link explaining them.

Re: King Cake Recipe
Shirley, have you ever made a king cake? I keep thinking of the one I had and I want more it was so good. Not sure if I made one it would be as good.
Re: King Cake Recipe
I haven't, Nonie, but I'd love to make one and see. A teacher friend of mine used to make them a lot, and hers were super good.

Re: King Cake Recipe
Shirley, could you use frozen or refrigerated puff pastry for the King Cake base and add the cinnamon and fillings?

Luzenia, I had not seen this post before, but when you mentioned cinnamon I got curious about a King Cake and Cinnamon. I thought they had been talking about King Crab Cakes . I knew about the tradition various families serving Ephiney Cake on the Day of Ephiney…and, now I am curious about the recipe.
Re: King Cake Recipe
Luzenia, I have no clue. IMO, I don't see how it would taste the same, but I'm sure you could make it work somehow.
