Oh yes, Betty. What a lovely lady. I remember when we had a fabric swap and I sent her a piece of Liberty cotton for the challenge, and another piece of Liberty silk with pink and purple sweet peas on it. She said she loved that fabric so much she was never going to cut it.... I wonder what happened to it?

I haven’t been in Betty’s store for years. I always enjoyed going in there to see all the garment fabric, which thus far north we just do not have. After I grew to know Betty on the forum it was always fun to drool over her little garments. I think the owners son was preparing to take over the store just before Betty passed. I wonder if that ever happened.

Perhaps next time I go to my SILs home I might run up to Springfield to check out that place once again.
