My first "real" quilt!

LOL I made this in 2007 when our son and DIL were expecting their first baby! I made it up from the Dick and Jane panel--and used a sort of Log Cabin block. I didn't know anything about what to do when it came to quilting the sandwich! So, I winged it with straight stitches. I never even heard of burying knots!!!! But, it was a start and I was "hooked"!!!

I will admit Dick and Jane was my first grade reading book! Have always had a special spot in my heart for anything related.
