Cinnamon Swirl Bread
DOUGH:
1 cup milk
2 T powdered buttermilk
2 eggs lightly beaten
¼ cup butter
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
¼ cup sugar
1½ tsp yeast
FILLING:
½ cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 T cocoa powder
3/4 cup (plumped and patted dry) raisins—optional
3 T melted butter
Add dough ingredients to bread machine and set for Dough Cycle.
Prepare two loaf pans by lining them with parchment paper.
After dough cycle completes, divide dough into two equal parts. Roll out each into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface—the width of the pan by about 12”. Brush 1½ T of melted butter on the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle half of the raisins and half of the sugar mixture on the dough. Roll up the dough and place lapped side down in bread pans. Place the pans in a warm area and cover till the dough doubles in size—about 45 minutes.
Lightly brush the bread tops with cream right before placing them in the oven to bake.
Place in oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Makes two loaves.

Re: Cinnamon Swirl Bread
Sara-- I used Brummel and Brown yogurt margarine, instead of butter. And, I did not melt it, I just plopped it in! LOL
And--we were totally decadent when we ate it! I didn't frost the loaves, so we put powdered sugar on the margarine instead! My sweetie went back for a third slice!!!
