Beer Bread

Ingredients:
3 c all purpose flour
1/3 cup. white sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
12 oz beer
3 Tbsp butter
In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder .salt and beer. This will be sticky, do not over mix.
Place batter in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan, Pour melted butter on the bread dough
Bake 350 oven 50-60 minutes,

Sara, all I can say is, it taste very good. We have a restaurant here that serves it as a muffin for a hot crab open face sandwich, and it is to die for.
No, would not work in a bread machine, you mix it like you would mix biscuit dough, just until everything comes together, it will still be very stickie.

Yours looks delicious! I made some at the beginning of the pandemic, when I could not find ingredients for other types of bread, or even a loaf of plain bread! It was good. We still have cans of beer that no one will be drinking, and I should make some more. Thank you for reminding me!
