I figured out a Rudolph!!

So, my years of playing with paperdolls paid off!!! I made a pair of reindeer and used E6000 for fabric to glue them together. I made a pattern from the base of the reindeer and cut a notch in the top center—and cut the bottom off the circle for the buttonette on Rudolph. I used my sewing machine to satin stitch around the stand to mimic the base of the reindeer—then slipped the two together!! WooHoo!!! Thank you all for giving me ideas!!

So, now, can you name all 9 reindeer???

I usually remember Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Comet, Cupid, and Vixen. I always thought it was Donder, but think it is really Dunder? Blixem never made sense to me, but I think some names were made just to rhyme. Rudolph was always my favorite, though. Martin used to have a battery operated Rudolph, with light up nose, that walked around. It was so cute.

And--the reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen, and Rudolph! But, some wise guys say there is and 11th reindeer--Olive!!! When you sing the song--"Olive (all of) the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names"!!!!

Yesterday, we found the perfect Father Christmas (at Hallmark) to sit in the Sleigh!
